Prophecy

This is eerie.  On July 12,  2007, President George W. Bush gave a press conference on the war in Iraq.

He was being pressed to remove troops from Irag.  President Bush defended his position, stating that the removal of troops would be devastating.

Here is, in part, what he said:

"It would mean that we’d be risking mass killings on a horrific scale. It would mean we’d allow the terrorists to establish a safe haven in Iraq to replace the one they lost in Afghanistan."

Wow, he got that one right, didn't he?
