Alison Lundergan Grimes

It used to be that people ran for congress because they loved America and wanted to serve our country.  Service was a sacrifice.

With a salary of $176,000 a year, free healthcare and innumerable perks, maybe "public servant" isn't really the correct terminology anymore.

This brings me to the bizarre candidacy of Alison Lundergan Grimes who is running against Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell in Kentucky.

Inexplicably, Grime refuses to say whether or not she voted for President Obama.  This refusal has all but killed her entire candidacy.

If a Republican did that, well, you know what would happen.
