We were driving to church on Sunday. I mentioned to my husband that we could stop by a different store for groceries because meat was $5 a pound at the store closer to our house.
He immediately got a migraine.
(I am not sure how he missed the $5 meat in my previously published article.)
Butter is over $4 a pound. I don't know if Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and Hillary Clinton ever step foot in a grocery store. So, they probably don't care.
Gas has been between $3 and $4 a gallon for a solid six years. The price of food has tripled in the last six years. You never hear one word about that on the news, ever.
When George Bush was in office, you heard about gas prices around the clock. It was such a hot topic that liberals screamed that we were going to war in Iraq and Afghanistan only for oil. Nothing could be farther from the truth. We were keeping terrorists at bay.
Interestingly, now that liberals are in charge, we are no longer keeping terrorists at bay. AND inexplicably we are also NOT drilling for oil here in America.
Isn't that weird? We could be self sufficient if we allowed fracking and drilling right here. The price of food would go down, and the price of gas would go down, too.
Why doesn't the media report the outrageous gas and food prices, how much it is hurting the middle class and how we could fix it by getting our own energy here?
This is true of every issue. Not a peep out of liberals now that we are going back to war. Not a word about how many precious soldiers lives have been lost in our fight on terror. Remember how they would show a count daily on the news? Not anymore. Could it be because 3/4 of the casualties occurred during Obama's administration after he changed the rules of engagement?
It is as though liberals change their ideology based on who is in charge. They have flip-flopped on the national debt, immigration, war, the economy.
Why? It's like they don't realize that they are being recorded and it is simple to have a montage of them contradicting themselves.
If a Republican flips on anything, oh my gosh, it would be on the news 24/7. He or she would be run out of office faster than a liberal can whip out a sharpie and make a protest sign.
But, all we hear is: cricket, cricket.
The policies of this administration are destroying the middle class and giving my husband a migraine.
