I can't believe that I am actually typing this, but I sorta respect what Russian President Vladmir Putin had to say about the terrorist attacks in Russia leading up to the Winter Olympics in Sochi.
He said that the "terrorists" (note use of word terrorist) would be "annihilated."
I think that is a good way to handle terrorists. First, call them terrorists. Then, promise annihilation. People respond to a strong leader who knows what he wants.
We have a sniveling, snarky, lying, double-talking weasel in the Oval Office. You don't get as much respect for someone like that.
You know?
Speaking of sniveling weasels, what is the deal with Dennis Rodman? Why do athletes and stars fall in love with cruel communist dictators? Think about it, Jay-Z and Beyonce recently got the first class tour of Cuba. Why don't they know that Castro has been a maniacal tyrant since taking over in 1959? Danny Glover was all in love with Cesar Chavez. He was also a cruel communist dictator. But, Glover just loved him! Why does this happen? Why does the media allow this to happen? Why don't freedom lovers, America lovers and the media expose these people for how foolish they are being?
Oh, yeah, because the media loves communism.
I am totally distressed that unemployment benefits are being extended for 3 more months. That is even for people who have been collecting government benefits for 2 years. I know, sometimes people need a hand. (See previous posts.) But, this isn't a hand up, this is a hand out. After not working for two years, a person could become dependent on that aid. That could discourage someone from even looking for a job. You know? Rewarding NOT working is NOT a good idea.
I am also totally distressed about the fall of Fallijah into the hands of Al Qaeda terrorists. We sent troops over there and fought for Fallujah's freedom. Now, since Obama abandoned Iraq, it took just two short years for Fallujah to fall back into the hands of terrorists.
These failures at home and abroad are even more evidence of Obama's complete incompetence.
And, I haven't even mentioned Obamacare in this post. Not once.
Are you distressed?
And BTW, I wanted to follow up on MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry's apology to the Romney family. Her apology seemed sincere, heartfelt and I think she was tearing up. (Of course, Romney publicly accepted her apology with grace.) I am glad she apologized and I am really glad that she truly appeared to mean it. But, I want to stress again - how have we gotten to this point? How can we, as a society, have reached a point where it is even possible to be so crass, so rude as to make fun of a baby and the family who adopted him? It is truly distressing.
