Well, there is not much to say. Not much has changed in two weeks.
But, I am really curious about what people think of Obama putting up barricades all over the country. That cost money, it wasn't free. But, he was closing off monuments and parks which were, well, free. Some of the places were on government lands but were privately funded. So, they literally didn't cost the government anything to keep open. The only cost was paying people to put up barricades.
Just to review, I think that it was a spiteful, hateful, nation-wide temper tantrum.
And, to add insult to injury, he had a huge rally for immigrants. While on the other end of the mall, veterans were being forcefully kept away from seeing the monuments meant to honor them. Some were arrested. I have been to those monuments, they aren't policed by armed guards normally. Having people there to arrest octogenarians in their VFW hats cost the federal government money, a lot of money. Please see my previous post, Immigration Rally.
And, I bet that he and Michelle are rolling all over the Lincoln bedroom laughing.
On a side note, some states are stepping up to take over the responsibility for the parks that are in their states. Guess what? There will be no need for the federal government to pick that tab back up, will there? In some ways, aren't we seeing that the federal government isn't necessary?
So, for once, since I don't have very much to say, can you let me know what you think?
What do you think of the barricades that were put up all over the country? Can you guys comment on here? We get hundreds of views, they can't all be my mom.
